Founded in 2007 by Tony Kypreos, Synesi is powered by a global network of trusted Associates, each selected for their their relevant know-how and ability to translate scientific research into viable ventures for positive purpose innovation for health, planet, and society
Our approach is underpinned with over 30 years of hands-on leadership across science, innovation, investment and entrepreneurship, working in boardrooms, research labs and venture investment. This blend of experience allows us to design and run tailored venture builder, accelerator and TTO translation interventions that don't just launch ideas—but inspire and equip scientific founders to achieve real world impact, at scale.
Academic
Tony has taught and mentored PhDs, postdocs and Executive MBAs at the University of Cambridge, King’s College London, London Institute for Healthcare Engineering, INSEAD, LBS, Cairo University, University of Zagreb, Chengdu University and beyond. This helps us to understand research from the inside—its rigour, its potential, and its limits. More importantly, we know how to help equip and transform the mindset of academic scientists into venture scientist translating research into viable ventures.

Startups and corporates speak different languages. We are fluent in both.
